the non-work stuff

Born in Ipswich, Suffolk; my heart remains in my homeland. I will always be a ‘Tractor Boy’ (that’s an Ipswich Town fan for the uninitiated).
However, I moved north to attend University and post-Uni, via a meander through Preston, Manchester and West Didsbury, am now conveniently based in a small town between Liverpool and Manchester.
After 20 years I have fully embraced the many cultural differences between the south and the north, with the exception of real ale. It should be flat, warm, no sparkler. The southern (correct) way.
My principal hobbies include touring the world watching England play cricket to various degrees of success. I also play in a band (Vanity Pages) who released our debut album in 2018 which can be heard on Spotify. I participate in 5km, 10km and half marathon running events and like to interact with my inner child by building Lego models.
As this is a ‘non-work’ page I should probably have used a ‘non-work’ image. However, if you want to see what I look like outside work check out my social media links below
